I spent $120.00 for a consult and he spent maybe 3 minutes total with me. It's just all about " how many" treatments it would take and what it might look like after. He had no images to share with me when I asked. Then his assistant goes over recovery and then the checkout person talks about cost and scheduling. He did not study my scar at all. Didn't even look at it more closely, touch it to see how thick it was or give me his reasoning behind "why" this would be a good procedure. He's a nice person.
Always in a rush it seems. You’re paying lots of money and he doesn’t take the time to talk with you. Unprofessional. Seek out other cosmetic derms.
If I could give Dr. Jeffrey Orringer 0 stars, I would. I deeply regret ever allowing him to treat my skin. He had me sign a consent form on a blank screen without explaining the procedure or potential risks. The acne scar treatment he performed left me with worse scarring—larger and more noticeable than before. He falsely documented that he had explained the risks, including the possibility of the scars becoming more visible, which he absolutely did not do. Dr. Orringer is probably the kindest doctor you will ever meet. I went through laser treatments with him for facial scarring after a car accident and you can barely see anything now. Other doctors have commented on how miraculous the result of his work is when looking at the before and after.
