Just want to say that we really enjoyed our stay for the second time. The Wandering creek cabin is our to go cabin everytime we come to visit as my son lives right around the corner. There was a couple of issues the second time but will not deter us from using this cabin again. Just want to thank Alan Strickland for accommodating us this year as we had to cancel last year do to death in family and we had credit coming Again Loved our stay. My husband and I started staying at Bear Pause cabin ten years ago and we were there for two nights this past weekend. THE GOOD: it’s ALWAYS clean!! It’s cozy, mostly secluded/private (someone is building next door :( though), the area is pretty quiet and the view is great while soaking in the hot tub! We LOVE the wood burning fireplace and the jacuzzi tub upstairs in the loft. Very quiet, cozy, creekside cabin at the edge of the Smoky Mountains. Everything was clean, heat was warm, and the hot tub was perfect. We will go back.
