My husband and I started staying at Bear Pause cabin ten years ago and we were there for two nights this past weekend. THE GOOD: it’s ALWAYS clean!! It’s cozy, mostly secluded/private (someone is building next door :( though), the area is pretty quiet and the view is great while soaking in the hot tub! We LOVE the wood burning fireplace and the jacuzzi tub upstairs in the loft. Very quiet, cozy, creekside cabin at the edge of the Smoky Mountains. Everything was clean, heat was warm, and the hot tub was perfect. We will go back.
It was very nice and up to date. The cabin itself was lovely, the location however was not even kinda private.. the online photos did a good job of making it look like it was secluded and private but we were 30 feet from a busy road. Will be staying again but maybe a different cabin
Location is only 25 mins from gatlinburg. Nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Road traffic can be heard at times from the porches. Love that there's a creek behind it and can go fishing. Clean and comfortable tho new mattresses are needed. We had a lovely stay.
