I am very unhappy with Dr Bates work I will never go there again I was supposed to have had kidney stones removed had the surgery and just to fined out that never happened. He had broken the one stone I had into 7 or more pieces and the other Stones were left in there. I was lied to by him was told that the stones were removed when they were never removed I'm very unhappy without office they're very disorganized they changed my surgery without notifying me they never communicated with me terrible communication.
My husband had a biopsy on his bladder. Dr. Bates was concerned that the resection was so close to the tube coming in from the kidney that scarring may the tube. A stent should have been put in then. Three days later, in extreme pain, Dr. Bates decided to take a wait and see attitude. By Friday, we were in the ER getting a CT scan that showed the kidney in extreme stress and the tube blocked. Went in for a kidney stone and ended up loosing my kidney, at no time did Dr Bates warn me about losing my kidney.
