My Name is Daniel Keith McDuff. I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. 2020 as the pandemic began. I was referred to UCI because my problem was way to much for my regular urologist to handle. Dr Hugen is relaxed, brilliant and confident with a great bedside manner. He and his team worked closely with my Chemo team. Three years ago, Dr. Hugen treated my father for advanced kidney cancer that had spread to his lungs. Although we lost my dad after a short battle, my family will be forever grateful for the care, professionalism, and kindness shown by this doctor. My mother could not believe that he would personally call her at the end of each day to provide an update on Dad's condition.
