I went to Surfside for my mammogram and ultrasound for a palpable mass that I found in my breast. The mammogram showed the tumor. The ultrasound tech in training could not find the correlating tumor on ultrasound. Dr. Duffek, the radiologist on site, refused to come and examine me himself even though the tech could not locate the tumor on ultrasound. Dr. Duffek is personable, completes biopsies quickly, and explains what he is doing very well. He made sure he introduced himself to me before the procedure and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I have confidence that his biopsies were well-executed.
