Great Selection and Amazing Integrity I wish it were possible to give this gem of a bridal store more than 5 stars. It was not just the selection, quality and attentive service that wowed me. It was the integrity of the owner. I was having a difficult time making up my mind between a lace dress that was $925 and a simpler gown that was $499. A great family owned business Service was great at this bridal store. They made me feel very welcome and actually listened to my budget and what I wanted to wear for my wedding. They have a nice sitting area with all the new magazines so you can show pictures of what you like and they can match up styles for you. However, they do have a limited selection on hand and ordering dresses takes longer than most stores, but if you have the timeframe to wait for a dress this is a great place to work with.
So glad I tried Corwins--and remember it's LOCAL! I'm way over the hill but still like good clothes. I have purchased dresses for two of my grand daughters' wedding and both times they were dresses that I did NOT think were appropriate for my age. Dora the sales lady insisted that at least I try it on (the first wedding) and it was perfect and made me feel more youthful and attractive--they even altered it. Found THE gown Visiting from out of town and recently engaged decided to stop at Corwins to take a look at their wedding gowns. I didn't have an appointment but they just happened to be able to fit me in. Samantha was very attentive. When the dress I loved didn't suit me Samantha found something similar that was the dress I bought. Amazing quality and great prices. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for that special occasion dress.
My favorite vendor I was referred to this store by a friend who had gotten her bridal gown and her bridesmaid dresses there. She told me the salespeople were really nice--she was right. I was never pushed, the ladies that work there are not on commission. They knew me by name when I walked in (I hope I was not a bad bride) and could not have been nicer. Mrs. D. On January 23, 2010 we went to Corwin's to have my very tall husband measured for a new Tux shirt, as he already owns a Tuxedo, and to buy him a new vest and tie. I also ordered a gown I had found on the Internet myself. It is now May 24th. My gown arrived, finally, 6 weeks after it was supposed to come in. David from Corwin's lost my husband's measurements and never ordered his shirt or the red vest and red tie he was supposed to be getting. Am I unhappy? Yes. Great Dress Shop! ! Everyone in Chico knows they have the most beautiful wedding/bridal party dresses but I just found out they are also starting to carry more casual dresses/blouses....and not the same old thing you can purchase down the street. I purchased 2 casual summer dresses for my daughter and she wears them all the time I have yet to see any other young woman wearing the same dress.
Great Selection and Service They treated me really well, in spite of the fact that I had walked in after a 2 hour walk and looked a mess. I looked like I didn't have a dime to my name! Walked back in 2 weeks later with a couple of friends when I was ready to try on dresses. Was treated just as well and this time I was well dressed and serious about buying my wedding dress. Thanks A Million Corwin's & Staff I found the customer service at Corwin's to be warm and genuine. When I was debating between two dresses and asked the staff for an opinion, everyone unanimously picked the dress that was $350 less! It was not about the money but truly about what looked good on me. I was really pleasantly surprised and felt this alone warranted a positive review. However, my entire experience was positive.
