I have been a patient of Dr. McGee's for 3 years now and he's probably one of my favorite ones! I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition when I was 18 weeks pregnant and was referred to him quickly. He cares deeply for his patients and familiarizes himself with their charts. I truly believe he cares about my family and helping me to remain in remission.
Dr. McGee has been my doctor for several years now and I've been very pleased with his ability to treat me. He's personable and truly cares about his patients. He's down to earth and easy to talk to and makes sure I understand what’s happening and his recommendations for treatment. He doesn't rush through his appointments and makes sure that he's addressed all my concerns and questions. I've had to see him on relatively short notice, and he's always been willing to accommodate me.
Always takes the time to hear me and has been a very accessible rheumatologist for me I have Sjogren’s Disease, fibromyalgia and I find Dr McGee to be very up to date on the latest medical information and always open to discussion on treatment options.
I really did not have a good experience at all. He diagnosed me with a pretty rare hypermobility disorder without any labs or tests aside from a physical evaluation and patient history. After a few months, I called back to ask about trying other options (not even pain medication!) for this disorder since physical therapy did not help and I was redirected back to my pcp. I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and referred to Dr. McGee. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and made sure I was seen promptly. His attentive approach and expertise truly eased my concerns. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking care.
