Brought in my C8 to get looked at after a dealer told me that I needed new brakes and rotors shortly after I bought the car. The dealer told me it would cost $2,100 for replacement pads and rotors for the front axle alone. I took my car to Corvette Masters and they informed me that my brakes still had almost their full life left in them. I’ve had my C5 five for about 15 years now. It’s my daily driver. In the past, I took my car there and was satisfied with the work and pricing. The complaints about no sense of urgency are all true. I won’t go there anymore, though. They tried to sell me a battery at 4:30 on a Friday. I knew the battery wad good and I got it tested to make sure… I was correct. What started out as a good experience went downhill from there. I received a reasonable estimate to replace brake pads and made an appointment. I left the vehicle there as scheduled but when I went to pick it up at closing, I was informed the pads never came in. I was disappointed but things happen. They told me to bring it back at any time in the afternoon in the next few days and they would do the job while I wait and it should only take a hour.
