I recently had a negative experience with Courtney Haslem. There was no communication and untimely call backs on a what should have been a rather simple house design. 2-3 days waiting for a call back despite emails being sent regarding changes to design aspects and modifications. While she came with good recommendations for house designs, her lack of respect and courtesy was one that left my wife and I switching to another designer who responded on time and met our needs without any delay despite being busy himself. We have had Cortney design two custom homes in the last five years. Her utilization of space and design create beautiful family friendly homes. Her office staff is very prompt with communication. This makes the design process much more manageable. I highly recommend Cortney and her team.
I would not recommend Courtney Haslem or her staff. She put our house on the wrong lot, wrong subdivision. Cost us a lot of money, she never offered to absorb the additional costs, it has delayed our home building 6 weeks. She and her staff have extremely poor work ethics. Please find another Designer to work on your plans. UPDATE Courtney Haslem will blame everything on her employees and computer. She take no responsibility. HIRE Someone else . Please don't hire Courtney Haslem Design.
