I’m genuinely taking a risk writing this since I still have a long lease ahead of me, and based on how this place operates, retaliation wouldn’t surprise me, but people deserve the truth. I have lived at Cortland since October and have had multiple problems since before even moving in. I am a single female living alone. A week ago, I had an emergency maintenance issue and one of their staff members responded around 9:00 p.m. The maintenance technician was drunk upon arrival. His eyes were blood shot red and he was slurring his words. As a woman who lives alone, I was scared and didn’t know what to do. We had several maintenance needs as we had just moved in, and they were all resolved in the same day. Our maintenance tech, Caesar, was incredibly awesome!!! He immediately introduced himself and asked about me, making me feel welcomed and valued. He was very friendly, yet professional. Caesar even came back the next day to make sure that everything was still in working order. 4 days since moving in and I am already extremely impressed!!!
