I've been living at Cortland for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I don't get many issues but when I do, their maintenance team is always quick to help and really understanding. Today, I had an issue with my washer door and Lamont went above and beyond to find the spare part I needed so he could repair it same day and now my washer looks better than ever. Even my cat, who tends to scream at strangers, is chill with them . Really couldnt recommend this place enough
The staff here is incredibly helpful and living in this community has been a great experience. I especially want to give a shoutout to Heather for her support during my move-in process. She was quick to help make my move-in seamless and ensured all paperwork was completed so I could move in right away. On top of that, she was kind, attentive, and proactive throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated her help, and the staff team is very lucky to have her!

Cortland at the village was a nice place to stay at first when i had good neighbors. When i left last year, a black male with a Texas tag was seen naked on the doorbell camera which made me very uncomfortable. A total of four smyrna police officers know about this and also the resident services employees know about this too. The courtesy office also saw the picture. The apartment that i stayed in was clean and it did not have roaches or insects but construction is almost every week and this so annoying.
Current resident here. Do not live here if you need peace and quiet to function. The buildings are over 40 years old and the walls and ceilings are paper thin. You will hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do and they will blast their music and TVs until the wee hours of the night. I was unfortunate enough to get a ground floor unit with a terrace level below me so I'm surrounded by 4 units that seem to be occupied by the loudest people alive.
