Last week was our third visit to this special place in a year by boat with family and friends. It's the perfect place for gatherings and the boathouse on the property really makes it.all cottages were perfect and very clean
We stayed in the Herring House for our honeymoon and loved every second of it. We’ve never stayed in Cortez (always stayed on the island). The cottage is so cute!!! We loved the decor and the location. The king bed was so comfortable. Check in was very easy. We appreciated all the little things in the cottage for our stay!! We look forward to coming back!
You guys are gonna love Heidi and John and this lovely property they have invested their resources and love into. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked with dishes and appliances. Heidi thoughtfully equipped the cottages with the extra things and comforts of home that make the cottages function like your very own home away from home. Absolutely wonderful! A hidden oasis close to everything you love about Florida. Beautiful docks (where we tied our flats boat up for the week), stunning beaches a bicycle ride away! Restaurants all in walking distance as well! We relaxed in the lovely Tuna Cabin, there was everything you could need and more! Every cabin will make you smile, the littlest details are carefully thought of. The “boat house” has a commercial ice maker which was key! I recommend bringing a boat if you have one. Our second time staying for friend gathering. What a great property to get together all of the cottages are amazing the boathouse for gatherings is the best . We came by boat and great docks for all boats. John and Heidi are great
