Great place to get a haircut. Mr. Cortez doesn’t do fancy haircuts and he’ll tell you that. At other barbers I would get a high fade and a #6 clipper on top, here it’s just clippers on the sides and finger length scissor cut on top. Pretty much the same cut just done the old school way. He has been a barber since he was in elementary school probably and does a good job fast
I recently visited this barber shop and left feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Upon entering, I was greeted by the owner, who was casually sitting and watching TV. I stood there unsure of what to do, and when I finally asked if they accepted walk-ins, he immediately interrupted me to say, “only call-ins.” When I asked when he might be available, his response of “next week” felt dismissive.
