I am new to the area and was in need of a good used car. Found a good one at Cortes, but like all ‘used cars’ it was not perfect. I identified some things I wanted fixed and identified some things I was responsible for. My salesperson, Sami and her sales manager were on the case! We have 2 Rogues we bought new, a 2017 & a 2019. When we bought them, when it was still Dave Smiths, we were told that a lifetime LOF service was part of the deal. Then they became Cortez. Even then, that worked great until this week. The service rep said he couldn't find anything about that deal, so charged me $101. When it was DS's, they would usually wash the car as part of the service. My wife had her car in the day before and was given a car wash coupon, so figured that's what they were now doing. WRONG! I recently took my truck to Cortes Nissan due to a starting issue, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. There was a significant lack of communication—despite leaving multiple voicemails, no one returned my calls. Additionally, the service recommendations were not relevant to my actual problem. They suggested general maintenance services and even recommended work on a front transfer case that my truck doesn’t even have. The service department was very unresponsive to me. They had my vehicle for almost 30 days, over three different periods. Without pressure, they wouldn't call to provide me with an update.
