I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cortes and his team. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Cortes is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I'm always greeted with care and concern. Dr. Cortes listens and responds to my needs. Angelia has been a great help with treatment, insurance issues, and all sorts of questions. I wouldn't go anywhere else. This is an office that sometimes has trainees that are still learning, so on occasion you might get a bad egg... but the regular staff is great and have helped when I have addressed the situation.
If I could give less stars I would. They try to force you into multiple visits that are unnecessary. Dr. Cortez spends maybe a total of 5 minutes with you after you wait hours to be seen even with an appointment. I called the office because my pharmacy did not have the diabetic medication on file. They held my prescriptions hostage claiming it was required by my insurance to withhold refills. I called my insurance and they said this was not true. They even suggested I report him to their custome
