It broke my heart to have my Granny there! I visited my grandmother fairly regularly while she lived at this facility. 99% of the time, there was a pungent smell of urine in the air so bad you wanted to cover your nose. I arrived one time to find her covered in her own excrement, as her colostomy bag was overfull and she told me that she had rung for the nurse a long time ago, but they must be busy. Corry Manor...Skilled Nursing? Corry manor is a 121 bed Nursing facility that offers round-the-clock care for elderly or disabled persons,along with other services,such as physical therapy,and short-term care for rehabilitation purposes. The best place I have seen! I had my mom in Corry Manor for short term rehab and she loved it! Was it perfect?...no Was it better than other facilities? Oh my yes! When my mom had a stroke three weeks after going home from the Manor she made me promise to take her back and I did for her last days! I loved my mom and would not take her to a place that is bad.
