Awesome spot and a good value well out of town. My favorite attribute about this roadside charmer is the exquisite landscaping. Plenty of well taken care of conifers, beautiful flower displays in the deck soil and flower bushes, and a lush lawn. Other reviews are accurate about noise level and the need to bring food. The staff are gracious and accommodating, and very personable. One thing to note: the rafting camp across the street gets and stays rowdy, so if youre in a room close to them maybe close the windows...
Absolutely the best stay ever ! Bedding’s beautifully clean. The mattress is comfortable. The room temperature is comfortable. The view is exquisite, and the customer service is absolutely stellar. We love Tina & Adam ! We will always come back for our anniversary!
Corral creek lodge was my home for first trip to the kern River. I was immediately. Impressed and put into relaxation mode. Where can I start, any photos you seen online do not do justice for how nice, clean and spacious the rooms are. The people who run the lodge are so welcoming and make check in a breeze so that you can get started on your adventures that await you in kern. It was a two-night stay with my son (and another son and his girlfriend in a different room). We were all really happy with this place! Unexpected bonuses: a fire pit, axe throwing, and horseshoe pits. There are also grills on the patio. The guy who was working on the office was really friendly, I had a nice chat with him by the fire pit the first night. Check in and out was a breeze! Staff is great and his dog Bailey is adorable! We cooked out on the deck and grilled brats. We asked if Bailey could have some meat. So she ate dinner with us last night! Rooms are nice and quaint. It's like camping in style. Beds are pretty firm. No internet but free wifi there. We came to see the Trail of Giants but didn't know the roads were closed. A head's up to people that the Air Force base is 2 hours away. They do fly throughs! I thought we were getting bombed!
