Sketchy internal practices
The labs are mid-level. Growth media is kept at room temperature for months. Manji, the main lab supervisor, sprays IPA on the BSL cabinet benches but doesn't wipe them down. Pipette tips (which are considered sharps) are thrown directly in the trash rather than being put in proper receptacles. Training is sub par. Students/interns are brought into BSL 2 rooms without proper documentations as well.
