He successfully clarified the billing issue I was experiencing with an in-network physician's office. We resolved the matter, and I am no longer responsible for any charges beyond my standard co-pays for appointments. I appreciate his professionalism and patience in addressing my concerns. Please extend my gratitude to James for his excellent work.
WALK AWAY IF YOU CAN! This has to be the most unscrupulous company, which says a lot in the insurance business. They have been holding a claim for payment for at least 6-7 months for a date of service that was nearly one year ago. I get the same runaround every time I call them. There is a processing issue that "upper management is very aware of." Meanwhile my health care provider has reached the end of their rope and are holding me accountable. The reference based pricing plans result in us getting balance-billed for everything. They also take several months to process any claim, which means we have to get bills put on payment plans in order to avoid going to collections while we wait for them. This is by far the worst insurance I've ever had.
