We hadn't been here before and had no idea what to expect. Turns out this park has quite a turnaround story. Older reviews describe it as a fenced-off, run-down lot, and the city apparently put $4.6 million into rebuilding it. That work clearly paid off. New playground equipment, paved paths, and seating areas now sit where a locked, inaccessible triangle of grass used to be.
