This heritage structure, established in 1927, is a much-sought after venue for music. The ornate concert hall designed with an abundance of red, has an old world charm about it. Moreover, it is equipped with the latest amenities and sound system. Various touring troupes, broadways shows and orchestras have halted at this theater to perform. Past performers include the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the Marx Brothers, Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan. Private parties and banquets can also be held here.

I grew up seeing amazing movies, attending Holiday events, and making out in the balcony in this historical venue during the most memorable part of my youth. The restoration is absolutely amazing. My recent visit to experience Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts followed by his Daddy's award winning band brought back a lot of fond memories. Rockford should be proud to have preserved such a gathering place for it's friendly, sincere, and loyal population. MAD
Have always loved the Coronado. We have subscribed every season since they started Broadway at the Coronado so many years ago. Also enjoy and subscribe to the Rockford symphonybpops concerts.looking forward to seeing Kristen Chenowith in March. Always belonged to the guild and worked on the program and Black magic Balls.
Beautiful building, wonderful staff! Thanks BMO Harris security, especially Tina, for helping me get my Cheap Trick photos!
I'm giving 3 stars because the place was amazing! The concession ladies were very friendly. The women helping us to our seats were very courteous. I wish my first experience at this beautiful theater had been an enjoyable one. Girls Night: The Musical is THE WORST theatrical performance I have ever seen....and I've seen a lot of plays and musicals because my cousin is a professional actor. Beautiful theater w many childhood memories! Saw every early Disney movie at the Saturday matinee.
My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception took place at this beautiful venue.
One of the nicest theatres I've been to. Very quaint and good sound. John Mellencamp was phenomenal, thank you for bringing him!
One of the most beautiful theaters I have been in,and they offer lots of great and diverse events.
Grandma would take me here when I was little to see cartoons on the big screen. 44 years later, it's incredible I can come full circle, and come up to take my son to see Cheap Trick Herr in November!
