Having arrived to witness the Civil War Reenactment of the Battle of Palmetto Ranch, (which was great), we had lunch in the Cornwell Restaurant. Very good lunch.
Had a Wonderful time there. the owner's are so very kind, the staff is equally kind and they really care in making your time there memorable <3 it was an AWESOME TIME <3
Been going here since I was little. Just went when I was home visiting from FL. It was just like I remembered! Food was wonderful - especially the pie! Hope it never changes. ��
I always loved going here as a kid. Now as an adult, I love taking my kid too! I am excited they have gluten free options for her as well!

I had lunch today 5/22/18 Tue with two others. We all ordered turkey plates. We had a problem with the mashed potatoes, they were instant, watered down or a poor variety. We love this place and have dined there for about 45 years. I hope they are not cutting corners to boost the profits. The potatoes were the only part of the meal that was low quality, there was enough gravy to mask them. I hope our next visit shows a change.

Thank you for your concern I can assure you that we are not cutting corners we still use real ingredients such as butter, eggs, potatoes, farm raised and oven roasted turkey, Michigan apples/blueberries/rhubarb and much more. I have spoke with the staff that worked that day and made sure they all know how to make the potatoes. We do use real potatoes so if any one does not measure the amount of liquid that is added just right then they can be a little different in texture.
