On Friday, January 2nd, 2026 my wife and I were driving our 2015 Toyota Venza from Scarborough, Ontario to Montreal. Around 12:30 pm, about 45 minutes west of Cornwall, Ontario, our check-engine light came on. Full disclosure, we were 3,500 km over the recommended time to replace our oil.
