Been coming here for years! When I was a kid id come here every weekend with my dad for a Strombolli. And just like dad would do. I always find a table, pray over them. Then pay for their meals with mine.
We were driving from California to Ohio over the holidays. Stopped in this town to get gas and I spotted this little restaurant advertising pizza and subs. I love local businesses so we popped in. Ordered a large sub (be aware this could feed 4 people!!!) It was one of the freshest sandwiches I've ever had. We are from out of state, needing a lunch and decided to stop by the cute little sandwich shop. Needless to say it was not a great experience. It was not even busy and took forever to get our food. The water with lemon was packets of lemon juice. The stromboli was soggy, and the alfredo was cold and flavorless and had hair in it. The food was also cold. I’m pretty sure they heated up a frozen pizza as well. However our waitress was very friendly. Needless to say I doubt I will return to this place.
The bread on my sandwich was phenomenal. They really treated me with kindness and had my food ready to go quickly.
