I am honestly amazed at how this process went so seamlessly. I want to take a moment to thank Mary and Simone for the consistency with their communication. Frank has a great team that not only moved quickly but we’re friendly and eager to keep the process moving along. My partner and I closed our home loan with James Gillespie at the end of May on our dream home and he and his team at Guild Mortgage made the process as easy as pie! They were communicative, transparent, and quick! I am extremely concerned by Guild Mortgage’s handling of a major billing error that appears to have affected a significant number of customers. My bank account was charged multiple times for my mortgage payment, resulting in thousands of dollars being withdrawn unexpectedly. For a financial institution responsible for managing one of the most important financial obligations in a person’s life, this type of error is deeply alarming. I worked with Jason himself. He was a really nice guy and listened to all my concerns. We started the buying process with no down payment and he found us certain grants. But luckily we came into money after saving and ended up being able to put down a nice down payment, but he still found a way to get 5k off closing costs. I would highly recommend Jason.
