These buildings have paper thin walls and no insulation/sound proofing. Good luck if you are living in a lower unit. We have a stomper above us and every step he takes sounds like he's going to come through the ceiling. Our whole apartment vibrates, shakes and makes cracking sounds when he walks. All we hear is stomp, boom, crash, slam, wham, bam, drag.
