My chimney was starting to show it's age - team came and gave me a free estimate, which included a detailed inspection and gave great recommendations. Over the three days of work the team was respectful and courteous and helpful! They did a wonderful job and neighbours even got their contact info they were such a lovely team. Would give 10 stars if I could :)
Came to rebuild the chimney but at the end of the job refused to do the flashing even though it was a primary reason for doing the rebuilt. The worker said they sealed and bent the flashing down to fix it. But look at how big the gap is when viewed within the attic. I had an insulation company come to do a quote right after Cornerstone left, and it was lucky I did. First thing the estimator said is the flashing around the chimney is messed up. We have had excellent work by Cornerstone on our 100 year old brick house and will continue to use them in the future. They are professional, on time, and stand by their work.
I recently had Cornerstone Brickworks install a new chimney cap and repair a section of brickwork around the front entrance way that had been damaged by water and salt. I am pleased with the result. They were punctual and completed the work in a short period of time. They also took time to clean up the site and checked with me to make sure that I was satisfied with everything before leaving
Hired to deconstruct and cap an old chimney. Great communication from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.
