Driving from Flagstaff to Phoenix on I-17 and all of a sudden the car had a weird noise. We stopped to see if we could identify the issue. We could not and went to Cornerstone Automotive. The mechanic was helping another customer when we arrived. After a few minutes he completed that job and helped us. We told him what the problem was, he had us pull in and quickly diagnosed the issue. He took are of it, assured us the car was fine to drive and we were back on the road again. Sorry for the delay, incident occurred July 2024, posting July 2025... Apparently, they're more reliable with certain clients and locals although my experience, because of my situation I consider this company to be very predatory if given the opportunity. I have a long story explaining the details and it's too long to post here. I was traveling from Flagstaff to Phoenix when my tire pressure light came on. I stopped here, and the mechanic quickly showed me what was wrong, one of my tires had lost a chunk of rubber, and the metal was exposed. He put on the spare for me, and when I asked about payment, he simply said, “It’s all good. We help people here.” Thank you so much for your kindness!
Great service! My wife was driving to Flagstaff and had an oil leak leaving her nearly stranded. She managed to get the car to the shop and they quickly found the problem. While making a small repair they also inspected the car/tires for road worthiness. She was back on the road within about 1 hour. The price was very affordable and they accommodated for her speaking limited English. With friendly staff and fast service, a near-disaster ended in a very pleasant experience!
an amazing group of people who have your best interest; work and run this place. so kind, attentive, trustworthy and reliable. we broke down on our way to sedona and these wonderful people, mrs. goldie and mr. jeff helped us diagnose the problem to my friend's car and sent us on our way in no time. forever thankful for them.
