What a lousy experience. We walked in and headed upstairs to the bar. A hostess (or a server) on the first floor shouted at us to come back downstairs and made a rude gesture. We’ve been there MULTIPLE times before and seating at the bar has always been first come first serve. She spoke to us as though we’d never been to a bar before. She was exceedingly rude. On a random Tuesday night in the middle of July, this was amazing to have something like this near Tamworth and in the area. Since this has changed hands it has been very very good. We had dinner upstairs. The Brussel sprout app was huge (3 times the size of the Moat restaurant), with bacon bits and walnuts and sauce to dip, was very good. Charming historic building with delectable food and many great menu choices. Sat upstairs with live music that even had me singing along. Friendly staff.

Absolutely wonderful and charming place. We visit The Corner House often for dinner and drinks and it never ever disappoints. The staff is so attentive and sweet. Our go-to is their brussel sprout appetizer and a few beers, but you can't miss with anything on the menu. We've had the pulled pork and prime rib dip and both were fantastic. Love the live music upstairs as well! Highly highly recommend for an amazing atmosphere.
