We had not been to the Corner Bistro in a while, but wow we are glad we went back. The food was awesome, and Taylor, our waitress was beyond exceptional. There was never more than a few seconds of a dirty dish or empty glass on our table before she wisked it away. We would return just because of Taylor, but then add the food to the equation, and it is now a must go to spot.

Visit at least once a year when vacationing on a golf trip. We go a couple times in a weekend. Food is the best in the surrounding area. Service and atmosphere is a perfect vibe for an evening conversation and drinks. Staff is extremely friendly. We make it a staple to stop every time we’re up in northern Michigan, even if it’s an hour out of the way. Golf is fantastic, but when the meals are the highlight every single time, it stands out. Really wanted to like this place, had high expectations, unfortunately didn’t hit the mark. My husband had the seafood pasta, which consisted only of shrimp. If there was crab it was very minimal. Came out cold and the shrimp were very firm and chewy. Major letdown. I had the Beef Scaloppini and it lacked flavor and was basically Swiss steak, not my expectation of beef tenderloin. Not worth price, do yourself a favor and go to the Asian food truck down the street.
