i normally do not write reviews but looking out for pet owners and their loved animals this needs to be known , the exotics dept i believe is extremely shady, if your pet needs a ct scan be sure to actually see it yourself to be sure it was done, they will take the longest way around the issue at hand in order to absorb more funds instead of going to the root cause to begin with, this was very obvious. please do not leave your pet overnight if you can help it, it is cold and dark and nobody there is going to care, your pet i... read more
We brought our Puppy Patches to you at 530am on Feb 23 even though she had passed away on the way to your facility. Your were very caring and thoughtful in our moment of grief. We thank you for your kindness and professionalism in taking care of our needs. I just wish we had brought her sooner we are heartbroken and will miss her.
I would like to express my opinion, based on the first and last time I had entrusted one of my dog’s care to Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to my statement, I would like to add; we have been part of a “high” rescue organization for over 35+ years. Our home welcomes elderly, high medical need, highly abused and hospice dogs. We are located approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours from all the major veterinary care facilities. Our “baby” Riley became ill, two weeks ago. Prior to his rescue he spent 30 days in a prairie fire. He... read more

I was aware of the excellent reputation of Cornell Animal Hospital and even though it is 3 hours away, I decided to bring my dog Casey a 12 1/2 year old Dalmatian. We experienced the high quality care and expertise first hand in the ER in December of 2022. I brought Casey girl there for a distended stomach issue. The staff at Cornell’s Emergency Department was very supportive, compassionate and sympathetic. We had the privilege of meeting and having Dr. Korn as our veterinarian. Dr. Korn treated us with kindness and educate... read more
My review is 0. Minus 0. The only reason I gave it a one is I couldn't submit without rating it 1-5. Here is a letter I wrote to the Dean. He send back the standard response letter never even offering tiny apology. Beware of this place. It is not the great place they claim to be: Mr. (or Dr.) Lorin Warnick, My name is Michele Cerami and my pet is Holly who is a cat. I have five of them. If it was worth suing you I would. Having gone to law school I know a suit wouldn't go anywhere, but your hospital was negligent an... read more
Terrible!! I drove over 2+ hrs seeking help for my cat. He was sent home covered in feces, with pills large enough for a human and most importantly MISDIAGNOSED! It is impossible to reach a doctor for guidance or questions. When questioning the misdiagnosis I was completely blown off and ignored, so was my local vet. Terrible overpriced experience!!!
Brought my Bernese Mountain Dog there on Friday after a mass on his leg burst open. He was bleeding profusely and we were worried. They brought him in to the ER and put some powder on him to stop the bleeding and sent him home stating he needed to have the mass removed and if he starts to bleed again to put corn starch on it, $307 bill, ($50 for Chinese herb pills that cost $9 on the web). The next day our dog was bleeding again from the now open and necrotic looking wound. We called Cornell and they said a Dr. would c... read more
