This place is a disgrace. It is a city park and considered a historical landmark that is in total disrepair. Its one of the few 18th Century cemeteries remaining in NYC and the Cornell family are considered the first european settlers on the Rockaway peninsula. Something needs to be done to preserve the history while maintaining the park for use of residents.
WHEN I WAS A KID LIVING AT 1610 CAFFERY BEFORE THE BUILDINGS WERE BOUGHT OUT I USED TO SEE WIERD THINGS HERE , I RECCOMEND EVERYONE JUST AVOID THIS PLACE
