Our pizzas were not hot or freshly made and way over priced for its poor quality. The dough appeared pre-baked or store brought, and sat at room temperature, with toppings added and heated only enough to melt the cheese, resulting in poor overall quality. The toppings were mediocre and the Detroit pizza did not deliver as we had hoped for, except for the crunchy edges , but the pizza itself was a disappointment and was at room temperature when it arrived. We had a mixed and ultimately underwhelming experience at Corkscrew Tavern Pizza. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and told there would be a 20-minute wait, which we were fine with. We were actually seated within about two minutes. Our waitress was very kind and upfront that food might be delayed due to staffing issues. We weren’t in a hurry and told her we completely understood. I ordered the Detroit-style King Kong, and my spouse ordered the Gone with the Wind. Not impressed. Wings were burnt and the Detroit pizza was like cardboard. Seemed a bit pricey for 4 squares of pizza.

I won’t go back…I’m local and have been there before. Ordered two of the 11 inch “Gone with the Wind” pizzas for $24 each…the recommended house favorite. What was “Gone” was the prosciutto!! Maybe one slice of prosciutto each pizza…MAYBE!! We had ordered a third pizza “Godzilla” for $23 ….also only pepperoni on two of the slices! I called the server over and showed it to her….several of the slices had maybe the size of a $0.25 prosciutto on them…..
