I love this restaurant and I'm here all the time. I live about a mile away. They have really fun events and the best sliders this side of Charlotte. Nice bar and friendly people. Good place to stop by for a drink and maybe stay for dinner. My favorite place in Waxhaw! Everything is good. Great drinks (beer and wine only), great food and atmosphere. Can be a little pricey but worth it.
Tried a salad with the crab cake. The salad was all lettuce that looked either spoiled or not cleaned. The crab cake didn’t seem cooked all the way through and the edge I tried was way too salty.
Come have an amazingly tasty meal with fresh ingredients and sit outside u see the fan and intimate string lights or inside the charming interior. Very down-to-earth and friendly staff. The food is terrific. Try the homemade marinara. And don’t leave without tasting the charcuterie burger! Cork & Ale is an enjoyable and reasonably priced gem right in the heart of downtown Waxhaw.
