This work with Cori changed my life. It took the hyper vigilance and the trauma out of my body, and my life is fuller, bigger and more calm than I could have ever imagined. Some of the modalities were new and different for me, and in the end, it all worked miracles with my brain and body. I am free from so much of the pain and fight or flight, and I am able to be in the world in amazing ways.
My experience with Ms. Ducey was bizarre and profoundly upsetting. She misrepresented herself as being highly trained in treating trauma, which in fact, she merely has a degree in the holocaust. Having a morbid curiosity about the suffering of millions does not make one trained in treating trauma. I do not recommend this therapist unless you are seeking a divorce, and if you are, other therapists in town respect their clients boundaries. Corrine Ducey is a gifted therapist. I appreciated her breadth of education. In addition to being a licensed therapist who holds a master's in clinical psychology, Cori has degrees in philosophy, political science and holocaust studies. She understands human suffering. She knows not only how to help people process trauma, but how to heal from it. She also helps clients examine their thoughts and actions and learn to live a more authentic, anxiety-free life.
