Dr Serer office staff are totally incompetent. They changes by appointment which I scheduled over a month prior. Instead of taking ownership of changing the appointment they attempted to gaslight me into thinking it was my fault. Now I have to pay full price for a test as I made my deductible in 2025 and now has been pushed to 2026!!!
Dr. Serer was incredibly dismissive of my concerns. She ordered an incorrect exam after I explained I was in pain for 3 weeks. She did not take my concerns or my pain seriously. No advice for a referral either. When I had an endoscopy, she did not explain, walk me through the process, or make me feel comfortable prior to the procedure. There was no beside manner at all. Her office says arrive by 4:45pm, it’s 5:29pm and I’m sitting in a room where the AC IS SO HIGH I’m freezing. The nurse had such a heavy accent I didn’t understand her. The same nurse kept asking me why I came if I didn’t want the colonoscopy.
Dr. Serer is one of the top doctors in my medical arsenal of practitioners- unfortunately, I have a few. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and serious. I have total confidence when I have to see her and I highly recommend her. She is not local to me and it is no bother to travel for her care. I found the office staff, nurses, assistants, and anesthesiologist to be extremely pleasant.
