Don't go here if you want results. Living 2 hours away and after waiting months for an available appointment, I was told I just have to live with my excruciating back & nerve pain that doesnt allow me to live life. Dr. Quinn and his PA, Kim, told me I don't need a fusion so they can't help me. Well, I've seen 4 other neurosurgeons that say I absolutely do need one. Fantastic all around! From check in to check out the process was smooth and welcoming. Dr. Quinn is not only knowledgeable but he has terrific bedside manner. The unicorn of doctors has been found and it’s him!
I'm only giving a review of three stars because of Dr Quinn's staff! Especially the practitioner & triage nurse that's taking his place since he's on vacation. First and foremost, do not schedule your surgery around any type of holiday! Because your doctor may not be there for you & neither will his practitioner or his nurses. I have received no help from any of his staff so far.The practitioner & nurse (which I will keep their names private) is not listening to me about the info on my file/chart, it's incorrect! There aren’t enough good things to say about Dr. Quinn and his staff. Not only is he an outstanding neurosurgeon, he and his team care about their patients.
Tried 9 surgeries with other neurosurgeons then found Dr.Quinn. 20 years of occipital neuralgia (nerve pain at base of my skull) Dr. Quinn knew exactly what to do. He removed bird nest of the non functioning spinal cord wires/stimulator and cleaned up the mess of previous doctors. Then proceeded cut the dorsal root ganglion at C2. Victorious! Amazing work by a truly gifted surgeon. This man's hands have been touched by God. I am sure he will save many more people with his talent. Thank you Dr. Quinn James and Cindy
