My experience was, I did not get a written price estimate or firm price before having work done. On one engine, I asked that a *********** be replaced and got a bill for $340. I was charged for work I question was necessary and far more than I expected. I was never contacted to approve the "extra" work. On my riding mower, the clutch was replaced, and a new drive belt installed. Only the belt was put in, on top of the pully, NOT IN the pully. (Burning rubber, shredded belt.)
