I am a caregiver, so I am responsible for picking up my family member's prescriptions. This pharmacy has been so very helpful to me by always filling prescriptions promptly. This pharmacy is 33 miles away from my house, but they consistently have my family member's medications in stock. Yesterday, I had a prescription emergency. My local pharmacy could not fill my family member's prescription because they didn't have his pain medication in stock. Used the pharmacy to pick up a snack on the way out and didn't have any issues. Employee was friendly and price was fair for the item I purchased, which is unusual for an establishment like this.
I had been with Corewell Pharmacy for over a year and happy with them which is why they even have one star. Then the Dr. changed my medicine. Corewell contacted my Dr.'s office and told them they couldn't fill my new prescription because they weren't taking new customers. Mr Dr. told them that I wasn't a new customer and had been with them a while. Corewell said they instituted a new policy the week before and if your prescription changed you were considered a new customer. If that isn't the silliest thing I have ever heard.... read more
2 stars to the pharmacy because I’m alive, the problem was corrected, and the pharmacist was kind. I’m not sure who screwed up but here’s my summary: On Friday I was discharged and TRANSFERRED INVOLUNTARILY to a crisis center that takes no outside medication. Before discharge the nurses/staff told me I would be sent with my life saving medication (Eliquis). Not only did this not happen, but it wouldn’t have mattered!
