Went for a blood draw. Walked on at 8 and out at 930. 11 people when I got in. Only one girl drawing and one on the computer. Can you say WAY UNDER STAFFED. I felt bad for the girls
Couldn't read tests. Sent me away...twice. Saw primary dr who could read the test and was told to go to er immediately for a blood clot surgery. Finally scheduled surgery for the following day, and no anesthesiologist... Was yelled at by surgeon like that was my fault. Told I can sit for the weekend and do the surgery Monday. Absolutely not. I would not recommend Corewell Trenton for serious medical care. Sadly, my mother was rushed there and spent approximately a month in the hospital requiring specialized treatment. Despite assuring us they could properly care for her, we felt they failed repeatedly throughout her stay and during multiple procedures. Our family asked, pleaded, and advocated for her to be transferred to another facility such as U of M or Corewell Royal Oak, but those requests were never approved, leaving us feeling powerless and frustrated. WORST hospital ever. 6 hours in a hallway given medicine with no idea what it is just told “take this” as they walked away. Left with NO ANSWERS and 6 hours wasted. No clue what’s going on at this hospital!!!
