Always short staffed. If you come in the morning, you will wait at least an hour for a blood draw. Staff is cranky and by their own admission, are always busy with long waits.
Another awful experience at a Corewell Health Lab. We entered the building and where told to check in at the first desk on the right. The woman politely and nicely gave us our number and told us to have a seat. a few minutes later we were called up. After a few questions the woman told us to head to the door and follow her. I go to this location to get bloodwork regularly. There’s always a long wait time. They started new procedures to help with wait times but they have reverted back to the old way of the phlebotomist coming out and calling each patient back for blood draw. For my blood draw the other day the check in employee didn’t record all the lab work in my chart. When I called a couple hours later they said the order showing in MyChart is a duplicate.
