Everything about a visit here was terrible. The booking process was a pain, every question I asked about what they offer was not really answered, just a bunch of I'm not sure. Upon arrival one of the staff at the desk was sort of polite the other not so much. I was excited to meet a provider of color but she was also rude and dismissive. Absolute worst experience I’ve had in healthcare. They told me they “made a mistake” when talking to my insurance company to verify my insurance, saying “your insurance said they would cover it, but then they denied the claim”. I called my insurance company, and they said they only cover one thing in weight loss management….. which is surgery! I was having a simple assessment to see a nutritionist/dietician/exercise specialist or maybe take meds! Mind you, I didn’t even go back!!!!!! I called them out on their mistake as the... read more

I’ve had a pretty good experience with CoreLife especially now that the old manager Aileen or whatever her name was is gone! My NP, Amy is great always giving good info and our check ins go well. The trainer Alan is really good too! He’s very sweet! What I don’t like is that they force you to see a nutritionist. It’s a waste of time to me. I could understand an initial appt with a nutritionist or if it was a requirement if I was not losing any weight or meeting goals, but it’s required and it can become unnecessarily costly.

I would like to express my disappointment in this office and how the communication with patients has gone downhill since transitioning to MedStar. I receive no confirmation of appointments when they are made, no reminder calls and the front desk staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. There is no way to communicate with your provider other than calling the office and speaking with rude personnel.
