I had a very disappointing experience at Core Pilates NYC. Unfortunately, the level of professionalism and customer service is severely lacking. The receptionist was passive-aggressive and unhelpful, even admitting that the policy on their website was inaccurate. Nadia, in particular, was incredibly rude and unkind. I was greeted by Taryn who was extremely rude
I would give a 0 if it’s an option. Overall an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience with this studio. Firstly, there were 3 classes going on at the same time. Secondly, I waited at the door for 5 minutes for someone to come but all four instructors saw me and ignored me. When finally someone came after 7 minutes of waiting, this lady called Taryn told me that I couldn’t take the class anymore because I was late. I travelled to New York for summer vacation and whenever I travel I like to keep up my pilates. It means I go to many different places and try many different instructors. At Core I had three different instructors as I needed to change my schedule frequently. They were incredibly helpful moving bookings around to suit changes. The studio is relatively simple but light and airy. All three of my instructors were top notch highly attentive and very good. I will make sure to do all my classes here upon my return.
