I genuinely liked Dr. Mahata personally, which makes this even more disappointing to write, but the overall experience with this office has been absolutely unacceptable. For the past 6 MONTHS my care has essentially been dismissed. I have been trying to get basic diabetes management handled and it has not been taken seriously or properly followed through on. The staff here from the front desk Registrars to the Doctors are friendly and helpful. The waiting room is comfortable, lots of seating, a water cooler, good restrooms, and good ventalation.
Mini Mahatta is a wonderful endocrinologist to have. Very patient, kind, and really addresses your concerns. She is willing to make treatment plans that you are comfortable with, and her main goal is to help you without judgment. I feel thankful to have found such a trustworthy doctor with my care and wellbeing.
Had some very helpful conversations with the Dr during the appointment. He spends a lot of time listening and discussing management of type 1 diabetes. The educator has had a few lengthy conversations with me as well that were enlightening.
