Had some very helpful conversations with the Dr during the appointment. He spends a lot of time listening and discussing management of type 1 diabetes. The educator has had a few lengthy conversations with me as well that were enlightening.

Office worker, PAULINE, does not belong in patient care. Other staff, specifically Erica, Theresa, and Dr. Mahata are wonderful. Unfortunately, Pauline was the voice of the practice today, which prompted me to write this awful review.

I love Dr Mahata and Emily at the front desk but the support staff is horrible. It’s impossible to ask a question between appointments, or speak to the Dr about blood work. I’ve asked about blood work results and when they didn’t know, I asked if I could speak with Dr Mahata and was told “no, she won’t speak with you on the phone”. Found out I needed to up this prescription a year and a half later when I finally saw the Dr. They have also messed up 6 prior authorizations leading to me missing doses of medication for 2 months... read more

My doctor is good, but trying to get a message to him between appts is near impossible, and even though there are several office workers there when I arrive to an appt, getting someone to answer the phone is also almost near impossible. I hate this about healthcare. I'm not a needy call once a week kind of diabetic but I do have a question or need now and then

I like Dr Mahata and the office but have a problem getting refills for prescriptions. Where I get my prescriptions done they email over the request. Found out today they don’t accept emails. It needs to be faxed over and even then the receptionist said they don’t always get them? Their office needs a better system.
