The worst travel baseball experience ever. The coach’s philosophy of “he just needs to get better” or “tell him to just watch what other players do and do that” (like watching you tube videos) doesn’t provide any opportunity to develop. We maybe had 5 indoor optional practices with just batting. There were 17 players on this team! We paid for team fees, uniforms, and travel expenses to learn that most kids wouldn’t play and/or be developed as a team. Extremely poor communication. We love Core Athletics and their process baseball training. They are not a team that are tournament hungry out for trophies that play to destroy but teach fundamentals with high expectations of training for players and families. It goes beyond the game of baseball with strategies and mechanics that takes time for a player to develop. Other teams pay money for baseball facilities, gear and expect wins only to have negative sportsmanship and attitudes. Terrible! The Manning brothers believe that nothing they ever do is wrong - including enrolling the kids in tournaments and then coaches, who aren't even their normal coach, show up late. Then asking the kids what their batting order is! The price is outrageous for the little instruction you get - and they aren't even enrolled in tournaments where the kids even have a chance. Playing a game and losing 12 - 0 in the first inning consistently isn't fun for the kids.
