I don’t recommend using Cordell &Cordell my attorney Josiah Silverstein would spend more time arguing strategies with me than he would with opposing counsel. I asked their board to consider giving me a different attorney. They said no my choices were to stick with Josiah (which I had already paid over thirty thousand dollars to or go to another law firm). I staid and got a bad outcome they say they are there to help fathers, but really only care about getting paid.
Let me start by saying the “saleswoman” I talked to on my consultation made a lot of really great promises. They were happy to take my money, but I was assigned to a different lawyer who had a completely different take on everything. Absolutely nothing was done how they said it would be. I have since changed lawyers and we are still finding places they screwed up my custody case. They agreed on my behalf to things I never agreed to and made a bad situation worse. Do not use them.
They did not live up to their radio advertising hype - Personally I like to write favorable reviews. But not this time. I hired Cordell & Cordell for my case in Northern CO. Upfront they were great until I dealt with the attorney they assigned me to. She was very insensitive, had low-lethargic energy & unsupportive; some of her response times for my concerns took several business days for her to get back.
