5/5 for Chip at the Boise Cordell & Cordell office. He’s highly professional, very capable, and great at making you feel like you’re talking to a real person not just another case file. He worked hard as an advocate, and my legal matter was handled with care and respect. Absolutely horrible law firm to work with. They charged me almost 10k for my divorce, they were great in selling me their service at the consultation but when it came down to actually working on my divorce the only communication that they would have with me was to inform me, they need me to pay more money. I received a call from their accounting department 1 month into my case stating I owed 3k, when I asked for what nothing had been done or communicated. I have a close friend of mine that has used this company for divorce and estate separation and it is God awful what this company has done to him, these people are horrible attorneys in particular Chip in the Boise office. Very unprofessional I would not recommend these people to anyone. Talk about defamation of character. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM.
I was referred to Cordell & Cordell by a family friend. After a consultation, I was happy to move forward with Chip because he understood the complexities of my divorce case and had good strategies for how to approach it. Chip understands the biases in the legal system and was excellent at handling the nuance that was needed for my case. AVOID! Unethical, unprofessional and unprepared. Just my experience, but that is what it was. My attorney was ok but the company support was awful. UPDATE: Now after 2 years of dealing with this firm on my issue suddenly there is some interest being shown whereby previously there was no interest on their side. Amazing how a simple review can get an unethical firm's attention. Sorry, live with the review, it's accurate.
