My current lead attorney has been surprisingly effective at dealing with the rocks thrown in my path during my ordeal. He responds to every communication and does it with an answer that completely addresses the need and reason I asked it. My observation is that He is skilled at legal strategy and adept in applying it. I, too, recommend Cordell & Cordell with the provision that one must make the scope of their legal needs and desired outcome known to the attorney.

I am sure that my case was minor in comparison to others, but my experience was fine with no issues. Hence the five stars. My attorney and support staff were attentive, detailed orientated, responsive, readily available and I recommend the firm overall. Note their size, so there is always a bad lemon in the bushel.
DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! TORT LAWYERS TAKE NOTE! Divorce sucks and if you want it to turn into a nightmare this is the firm for you! Out of pocket costs around $100,000. About $20,000 to figure out child custody without going to Court with my first Attorney Whitney Bolton. High turnover rate for practicing attorneys. Managing office attorneys are licensed in other states not able to practice Law in Virginia. Sounds to be the norm. Updated: Unfortunately unable to finalize the divorce with them but there was miscommunication on both sides. Didn't get very far but they adjusted to be fair
