Don’t waste your time. It’s extremely difficult to donate. I guess they care more about making money than changing the world.
Horrible experience. We went through all the trouble setting this up just to have the donation wasted. We gave birth close to midnight and called the number as requested in the donation package. Cord for Life uses an answering service after hours. That answering service has no idea what was going on nor did they care. The told us to keep it cold and just mail it. I was highly interested in finding a company that would allow me to donate the umbilical cord blood, so this review is related to my experience with Cord for Life’s (CFL) umbilical cord *donation* process, not their cord blood storage process.
