Amanda is first class!
Corbu is a great salon. Very welcoming and lovely ambiance. My stylist, Cyndi is fabulous with color, cut and hairstyling.
I have gone to a few places for facials before, and this place just missed the mark; it was lackluster and very expensive. I've been to other locations for facials, and they have just been a lot better. I could tell the technician knew what she was doing, but the treatment felt rushed, and she used a sheet mask. The products the esthetician used felt nice, but I felt like she was rushing to get me off the table. Just wasn't happy with it. I don't think I will go back.
This was my first time getting my hair cut at Corbu, and I was trying to “phase out” of a previous haircut I got elsewhere that I didn’t like. Christina cut my hair, and I was very happy that it was exactly what I wanted. The woman who works at the front desk is also very nice and helpful, and the facility has a relaxing atmosphere. All the way around, it was a good experience, and I will be going back there.
Luxury refreshment from this spa in the heart of Harvard Square — an oasis against stress and damage from the elements. Coiffeuse Cristina is an artist whose medium is hair; Bettina dissolves conglomerative impurities, for a transformative confidence-booster; Rita — well, the best-ever manicurist plus wonderful individual.
